
Following promotion to the National Conference League Premier Division, Wigan St Judes faced the challenge of competing against some of the strongest community clubs in the country. Against a high-quality standard of opposition throughout the campaign, Judes secured their Premier Division status and finished the season in 8th place.
Across 22 league fixtures, Judes recorded 7 wins, 14 defeats and 1 draw, scoring 355 points and conceding 598. Their total of 15 league points saw them finish comfortably above the relegation places, ending the year ahead of Lock Lane, York Acorn, Heworth and Rochdale Mayfield.
The transition from Division One champions to Premier Division competitors was always going to present its challenges, but the squad remained competitive throughout the season and picked up important results against established top-flight opposition. Those victories proved crucial in securing another season at the highest level of the community game.

The season also marks the end of an important chapter for the club, with Head Coach Dave Myrescough and Assistant Coach Dean Hunt stepping down from their roles at the conclusion of the campaign.
Under their leadership, Wigan St Judes achieved promotion to the Premier Division and successfully retained their place amongst the elite clubs in the National Conference League. Their dedication, commitment and countless hours of work have helped shape the current squad and leave the club in a strong position moving forward.
