Thursday, 22 September 202215'sLeigh MinersHome10-20St Judes U15s hosted Leigh Miners tonight it what proved to be a close physical game. Judes have been on a positive run lately and looked to keep that going against a tough Leigh side, a sloppy start saw Leigh take an 8-0 lead before judes clicked into gear and the rest of the game was very even with Judes just coming short to lose 10 - 20

Sunday, 25 September 202210's - MaroonsChorley PanthersHome18 - 28The Maroons welcomed Chorley Panthers down to Parsons Meadow for the last game of the season in great game played by two tough sides.

Judes made huge improvements after last weeks loss and were unfortunate not to come out on top.

The two team went into half time at 12-12 and Judes went into an 18-16 lead with 10 minutes to go.

Chorley took their opportunities well late on in the game to come out victors.

Judes showed great character and can be very proud of their efforts. There are plenty positives to take into next season. Well done everyone today and for the 2022 season.

Sunday, 25 September 20229's - GoldsHindleyAwayX XWe finally made our first trip over to Hindley after a few false starts in recent seasons.

We kept the game tight early on with both teams having resolute defences completing sets without making s breakthrough. Late in the first quarter Hindley made a breakthrough with their live wire number 6, who would go on to have a big impact in the game.

Second quarter was following the same script with defences on top throughout. With Jacob making a breakthrough for us whilst Hindleys number 6 grabbed a couple more tries.

In the third quarter we struggled to make a breakthrough whilst Hindleys number 6 grabbed a couple more tries.

For the final quarter we asked the kids to forget the score and give it a good go, be brave with the ball and try passing the ball about. We had some great success in this quarter with Harry, Zaine and Jacob crossing the line with some great efforts playing much more like themselves. Hindley also grabbed another three tries rounding off the game.

Players of the match

Chris - Logan for keeping his head up and making some strong runs and hard tackles

Michael - Leo for another determined performance playing with passion and strength

Opposition - Jacob for an all action display grabbing a few tries and putting some big tackles in.

Parents - Harry H for another great game, even popping up out on the wing for a try!
Sunday, 25 September 202215'sRochdale MayfieldAway8-18St Judes made the early trip over to Mayfield today on the back of a recent rise in form but just weren't at the races which led to a scrappy affair. Judes were lacklustre in attack but a stubborn defensive effort kept the game close to the end with Mayfield taking the victory.
