| Saturday, 11 March 2023 | 1st Team | Barrow island | Away | 20-24 | Judes 1st team lost away at Barrow island by 24-20. The first half proved to be close encounter Jude’s scored first ,wide out, a great back line shot saw the speedy Lewis melling touch down 0-4
Barrow had a good spell of field position and possession and scored a try under the post to lead at halftime 6-4
Barrow started the second period good and scored 3 converted try’s in a 8 minute onslaught to take the score to 24-4 , everyone thought game over , but Jude’s had other ideas ,adam Lavin jr forced his way over for a great try converted by Danny Fallon 24-10, 2 minutes later Jude’s were in again Jacob Dugdale shooting in from 30 meters out again converted by Fallon 24-16 , with time not on Jude’s side, great hands again and Lewis Melling again scored in the corner to complete the scoring 24-20 , the whistle came 5 minutes to soon for Jude’s , a great fight back from the lads
