First half
Judes start the game by kicking to Oldham and Judes are straight in there with a great tackle by Tadgh. Another great tackle by Deacon stopping Oldham in their tracks. Fifth tackle and Judes kick the ball to Oldham. Oldham take the ball from over the try line but are soon tackled by Isac. Judes have the ball back and Harrison drives it hard up the field.
Great defence from Judes stops Oldham getting past the half way line.
Judes are now on the attack and make good yards but just can’t make it over the try line yet.
A great run from Harrison after a quick play of the ball.
Judes are really pushing forward and passing the ball from player to player.
Mason drives the ball forward but gets tackled just before the try line. Next play the ball sees Isac take the ball over the try line. Isac converts his try and gets the first points on the board.
Brad collects the ball from kick off and runs it fast up the field. Josh and Tyler are are backing their team up and helping with tackling the bigger lads from the Oldham side.
Oldham have the ball back but Judes are determined to keep them from scoring, which they manage thanks to Jack Myers and Kian.
Second half
Oscar takes the ball from kick off with a great catch but Oldham soon have the ball back. Judes are still working hard in defence and are keeping Oldham from scoring. Big tackles from Jack Elwick and Cody makes sure they don’t. Aston takes the ball n drives it forward through the middle of the field.
Oscar makes another great tackle. Oldhams turn over and a lucky short kick sees one of their boys chasing the ball and scoring their first try. They miss the conversion letting us keep our two point advantage. Judes have the ball back and again brad weaves up the field in and out of players. Now with only two minutes to go we just need to keep hold of the ball. Great passing from mason to Cody. Last play of the ball n our lad places a perfect kick into the corner for Harrison to pick up the ball n score our last try of the game. Which he converts easily.
Strong defensive effort from the boys tonight and back to winning ways.
