Wigan St Cuthberts 4 V Wigan St Judes 18

This mid week game saw take a short trip to Cuthberts, these games are good nip and tuck games!
Early on in the first half Judes were shocked with across field kick that was collected by Cuthberts to go over. Judes then switched on and started to test Cuthberts defence and Judes defence stepped up. Shortly after Kian Stanton brought Judes level and converted by Rohan Green Judes had the lead.
With new lads Owen Dewhurst and Jack Doran playing like that they had been in the team for years, Judes had the edge over Cuthberts . At the break it was only 2 points in it , Judes had the lead 4 -6.

After break Judes continued with the pressure and forcing Cuthberts back, Judes grew in strength.
With Muhammad Abassi going over and being converting by Lewis Banks, Judes stretch their lead.
Harry Stokes aided Judes with hard tackling which forced Cuthberts to spill the ball and popping in the line. James Molyneux and Scott Finney playing some great rugby, Judes took the game by the scuff of the neck which forced Cuthberts to give penalty after penalty. This took Judes close to Cuthberts line and Josh Mawdsley saw his chance to go over, again converted by Lewis Banks. Judes then played up the jumper rugby for the final minute to win it 4 -18.
Great back to back wins boys!
