| Wigan st Jude’s Open Age completed their last home league game of their NCL Div2 campaign against a very young and inexperienced Shaw Cross Sharks at the Meadow with a 80-0 thrashing. Jude’s who’s line was very rarely threatened had to much power and pace and three players finished with hat tricks of tries, Gav Rodden, Darryl King and Sponsors Man of the Match Under 18s Reece Storey. In total Jude’s scored 15 tries and 10 conversions, 9 going to The boot of Danny Fallon. NCL Man of the Match Jack Rimmington worked hard with great distribution and direction. Connor Parkinson 290 Meters, Joey Brady 150 Meters, Baz Rothwell 135 Meters and Josh Hill 105 Meters we’re always lively and dangerous with ball , both Parkinson and Brady picking up two tries apiece for their efforts. Once again Chris Rowe took the top Tackler award with Fallon and Brady close behind. With Completion Rate 63% in the first 65% in the second and with several chances bombed, who knows what final score could have been. |
