| Judes 1st team took on Woolston Rovers in a hard fought contest down at Parsons Meadow. Woolston raced in to a 10-0 lead after the first 20 minutes of the game. Judes registered their first points with a well worked try from under 18’s centre Callum Palmer. Just before the break Judes levelled up matters with Danny Cassidy latching on to a bomb which he converted. The second half was very much a seesaw battle. Woolston took the lead on 53 minutes, then Judes hit back and took the lead with Danny Cassidy claiming his second of the game which he converted to put Judes in front. Judes where very unlucky not to add further scores during this period as Woolston where on the back foot but Judes couldn’t get the ball down over the line. In the last 8 minutes of the game Woolston took the game away from Judes with two tries. Player of the Match for Judes was Danny Cassidy |
