The first team at home started the game brightly against Leigh miners with Ryan wood scoring a great try after good approach work from the forwards and good hands from the backs wood finished the move in the corner
Miners replied with two converted try’s before prop Tom Owen went in close to the sticks and Ben Fisher kicking the goal 10-12. This was as close as judes got to miners eventually losing 10-58

Under 18s player Ryan wood making his first team debut had an outstanding game pushing m-o-m stand off Gary McMahon all the way for the honour
