St Jude’s first half dominance of second in the league West Bowling was enough to take these 2 vital league points as Jude’s won 42-34 at the Meadow on Saturday. The first half display was right up there with the best this season and NCL Man of the Match Baz Rothwell was outstanding with a solid display at the back and some tough carries under pressure. Another top performance from Sponsors Man of the Match Chris Rowe who was always eager to take the ball in and stop any threats by the visitors . Danny Clayton’s introduction mid way through the first half was instrumental on helping Judes build a 20 point lead with his outstanding distribution. Danny Fallon was on his A game and was heavily involved with everything good about Jude’s attacks. Dave Carneys first full game back was good , linking well with Fallon. Errors, poor game management and penalties in the last 20 mins gave West Bowling hope until Gav Rodden struck with his 4 try and it was Game Set and Match to Jude’s.
